Stephanne Martin has been creating artwork and throwing pottery nearly all of her life. She has been a formally trained potter and artist for over 35 years, studying at a number of notable ceramics programs throughout the Southwest. She has continued to hone her craft as a teaching master potter and instructor with literally 1,000's of students over the past 20 years.

Martin Studios was founded in 1997 in Houston by native Texas artists Stephanne and John Martin. ​

The Martins are frequently invited to participate and exhibit their works in Juried Art Shows & Festivals around the country.

John Martin is a native Texas metal artist with over 30 years experience working with metal and other materials to create exciting and unique artwork, furniture, architectural elements and functional works for the home and office. Based in Houston, TX, John offers custom design and fabrication from his shop & studio allows him to specialize in a wide spectrum of creative projects including the creation of unique and original works of art, custom metal fabrication, furniture, and sculpture.

In addition to in-house creative projects, Martin Studios also provides consulting services to help guide clients with great ideas through the design and planning process of bringing their projects to life. John has exhibited his work in numerous galleries and juried art shows over the years and now offers his work through this website and personal commission. John's artwork references forces that comprise the world around us, creating sculptures and artwork which seem organically familiar and warm while offering new perspectives and juxtapositions.
